Learning 2.0

You can probably tell by the title page that I'm not a huge fan of blogs. For the most part, I think it's a matter of "too much information", often pointless and unnecessary information at that. Being a private and somewhat modest person, I don't feel the need or desire to share my innermost thoughts and feelings with random strangers. Nor do I think anyone would be that interested in what I have to say, anyway. Having said that, I understand that blogs can serve a useful purpose, and the good ones can provide relevant information and (even) enjoyment. I personally prefer to remain anonymous and a voyeur when it comes to blogging. I enjoyed checking out other staff members blogs, but only because I'm already acquainted with them and so am interested in what they might have to say. But the bottom line, for me, is the time factor. The amount of time it can suck out of your life is amazing! We all lead such busy lives, and blogging is a huge time drain (in my opinion), that I'd prefer to be doing something else in my spare time (like I have any to begin with)...

  2. HI Paula--

Some folks find blogging about their innermost thoughts the best use of their time, and their readers love it!
Others rather blog about something more topical, like politics or climate change. It's up to you!
I am glad you are checking out other's blogs and seeing what they are writing. I look forward to reading your thoughts here in the upcoming weeks!
